The primary purpose of this blog is to help me with menu planning and organizing recipes (both on and offline).
I don't consider myself a gourmet chef but a proficient cook. I'm not particularly into baking although I'll make muffins, some yeast breads, and of course birthday cakes, etc. as needed.
My youngest has problems with dairy and soy so over the past two years I've pretty radically overhauled my repetoire. I'm always on the lookout for recipes that I can adapt or that fill in some of the holes left by dairy & soy. I may also from time to time blog about DFSF products that I've found that work for us.
